LoudHush is my pet project, an experiment and a way to spend some of my free time.
I've started writing LoudHush because there were no native IAX soft phones running on the Mac at the time. Things have changed a bit since then, with JackenIax, Idefisk and others appearing.
I think of LoudHush as a pet project because I don't really make money out of selling it; I call it an experiment because I've decided to go with shareware rather than giving it away for free.
My Mac history is relatively recent (2 years or so) and I think the biggest surprise I've had since releasing LoudHush is that the Mac users actually buy shareware.
IAX soft phones are such a niche product that it's not hard to figure out why I don't have that many customers, but that makes selling licenses that more rewarding.
LoudHush is now about one year old, and I hope it will get older and better.
