geo-spatial.org's mailing list had a link to this little gem: High Resolution OrbView - 3 Images Now Available from USGS.
The resolution itself is not spectacular when compared to the Bing imagery displayed in OSM's Potlatch and the coverage of Romania's territory is rather sparse, but the license lets you do whatever you want with the imagery (public domain).
